The intentional design not only ensures accessibility but also allows for straightforward photocopying, promoting widespread distribution. This user-friendly manual serves as a powerful tool, breaking down barriers and encouraging a healthier lifestyle for the community.

This manual was originally designed to be printed on colored paper, making it easier for the patient to identify it among other medical documents.

The interior illustration features an example of a balanced plate, with three main characteristics: a simple, high-contrast illustration; the name of each food for assisted reading, and a metaphorical separation of the plate by food groups.

The design of the back of the printed material is a diagnostic form to be filled out by the medical professional.
